The Company.
Avanti Display was formed by Bill Palmer and Mike Lister in1985 and has been performing and touring street theatre since then. The company have produced more than 10 original shows during this period appearing at all the major European street theatre festivals.
We have always tried to produce work that is accessible and entertaining whilst maintaining an artistic vision and a strong sense of originality. During the last three years the company have received support from the Arts Council of England and the Heritage Lottery Fund for their productions.
Avanti have worked with The British Council taking their work to Thailand and China.
Avanti Display like to collaborate with other groups and involve other artists in their work.
